The Challenge

The Melanoma Institute of Australia (MIA) decided it needed to raise awareness of the dangers of skin cancer by creating a month long campaign called "Leave your Hat On". The concept was a simple yet effective message to Australians to cover up when in the sun and one of the best ways to do that is to wear a hat when outside.

The Solution

The MIA asked Vivod Media to shoot a CSA TVC using a great Australian talent who was famous for wearing a hat, Lee Kernaghan. The video for the TVC was shot in 30 minutes using the Vivod Mobile App with Teleprompta and the Vivod Media Kit. The files were submitted to Vivod Creative Services for editing, directly from location.

The Result

With the fast turnaround of the files, thanks to the capacity of the Vivod Mobile App to deliver content from anywhere and at anytime, the editing was completed and delivered to the client for review in less than 24 hours. The resulting TVC was aired on FTA and Pay TV, proving to be a very effective lead in and reinforcement message during the entire campaign.
