The Challenge
Our PR client had a requirement for a multimedia release to be distributed to news outlets around Australia the same day as the official opening of a large windfarm infrasrtucture project.
The opening was to be held at Hornsdale, 250km north of Adelaide in regional South Australia and the requirement needed broadcast videos of speeches and overlay footage to be included.
The challenge was to overcome the remote location of the event to achieve timely and wide distribution of the event and supporting media.
The Solution
Vivod Media's client ran the official opening event and submitted the footage and photos as the event occurred.
Along with the completed video, the multimedia news release contained a Media Release document (PDF), 31 high resolution photos as well as a broadcast version and seperate online version of the completed video for news outlets to download.
The Result
Within 2 hours of the event concluding, the release was distributed to over 200 news outlets around Australia.
Our unique and innovative analytics engine reported media engagement of 81.25% from the outlets previewing and downloading content that was required for their respective bulletins and publications.
